The Atla-Bama Adventure Route (TheABAR) is 188 miles with 110 miles (58%) of it being on Dirt, Gravel, Sand, and Unpaved Roads.  Starting less than 20 miles from downtown Atlanta, this route runs East into Alabama, North trhough the Chocoloco WMA, and then East back into Georgia.  Though most of the route is pretty tame and beautiful, I advise High Clearance and 4 Wheel Drive for this route as there are some rock gardens, rock ledges, ruts, and possible deep mud holes when wet.
