The Georgia Adventure Trail (TheGAT) is the Original and Flag Ship Route of the Vman1313 Adventure Routes. The GAT runs 615+ Miles with 65% of it being on Dirt, Gravel, Sand, and Unpaved Roads. Running from South to North through the great state of Georgia, the route takes you through the white sugar sands in the south to the beginning of hills on clay roads in the middle to the tight mountain roads in the north with everything in between. I would classify the route as easy to medium with small spots of medium to difficult sections. After rains and when wet, the route can definitelybecome very VERY challening especially around the Macon area-see waypoints on map.
High Clerance and 4x4 Recommended!
